Comparatives & Superlatives
👉 Definition:
Used to compare two or more things
দুই বা ততোধিক জিনিসের তুলনা করতে ব্যবহৃত
👉 Structure:
Adjective + -er/more (comparative), -est/most (superlative)
👉 Examples:
She is taller than me
সে আমার চেয়ে লম্বা
This is the best book
এটি সেরা বই
He runs faster than John
সে জন এর চেয়ে দ্রুত দৌড়ায়
This is the most expensive car
এটি সবচেয়ে দামি গাড়ি
English is easier than Math
ইংরেজি গণিতের চেয়ে সহজ
👉 Important Rules:
- •Short adjectives: add -er (comparative), -est (superlative)
- •Long adjectives: use more/most
- •Irregular forms: good/better/best, bad/worse/worst
- •Use "than" with comparatives
